The Ironing Tax

Ironing Is The Chore
Nobody Has Time For.

If your "iron pile" has its own chair, you already feel it.

The Board Eats Your Morning

Dragging out the ironing board, waiting for the iron to heat, fighting collars and sleeves — that's 20 minutes you don't have before work.

Cheap Steamers Just Breathe

They puff hot air at the fabric and drip water down your arm. Wrinkles relax for a minute, then settle right back in. You end up wearing them.

Delicates Cost You Extra

Silk blouses and suits get shipped to the dry cleaner because you're scared to scorch them — and that bill adds up fast.

In Their Words

"I have a whole basket of clean clothes I don't wear because they're wrinkled and I never feel like ironing."

Real customer · New York

You're not lazy — ironing is genuinely a pain. A regular steamer only does half the job because it can't press. That's exactly why we built Dr.Flash: steam to relax the fabric, 6000Pa of suction to do the pressing.

How It Works

Wrinkled To Wearable
In About A Minute

1. Fill & Power On

Pour water into the 270ml tank and press power. It's at full heat in 30 seconds — faster than your coffee.

2. Pick Your Mode

Tap the LED panel — low steam for silk, high steam for cotton and denim, or suction mode for thick and hanging garments.

3. Glide Once & Go

Run it down the garment. Suction pulls it flat, steam sets it smooth, and it comes off dry and ready to wear.

Before & After

See What One Pass Does

The same satin shirt — creased straight off the hanger, then smoothed with a single glide of the suction plate.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Two things prevent it: let it hit full heat (about 30 seconds) before you start, and fill the tank to the max line rather than overfilling. Spitting on any steamer is almost always cold start-up or overfill. Using distilled or filtered water also keeps the internals clear of the mineral build-up that causes long-term spitting.
Yes — this is where the suction matters most. It grips collars, cuffs and lapels flat against the heated plate so you get crisp, pressed edges instead of soft, half-steamed ones. For structured jackets, use the suction mode and work in sections.
Use Low Steam mode, which lowers the intensity and turns suction off. Keep the plate a touch off the fabric and move steadily. As with any steamer, test an inside seam first on very delicate or vintage pieces.
The 270ml tank runs continuously through roughly 7–10 shirts on a single fill — enough for a full work week or a packed suitcase in one session.
A regular steamer only blows steam, so wrinkles relax but don't fully press out. Dr.Flash adds 6000Pa of suction that pulls the fabric taut against a heated ceramic plate — that tension is what sets a crease — and draws the moisture back through so clothes come off dry, not damp.
Distilled or filtered water is best. It prevents mineral (limescale) build-up, which is the number-one cause of a steamer spitting or losing pressure over time. Tap water works but descale periodically if your water is hard.
Steam your whole closet for 30 days. If Dr.Flash doesn't replace your iron, contact our team for a full refund — no hoops. Reach us any time at our contact page.

Threw out my ironing board

I travel every week and this lives in my carry-on now. Shirts go from balled-up to boardroom in like two minutes. The suction genuinely presses — it's not just hot air.

Finally works on my dress shirts

Collars and cuffs actually come out crisp. I was skeptical about the 'vacuum' thing but pulling the fabric tight is the whole trick. Heats up crazy fast too.

Safe on my silk blouses

Low mode is gentle enough for silk and I haven't had a single water spot or shine mark. Used to spend a fortune at the dry cleaner for these.

Mornings got 10 minutes shorter

Two kids in school uniforms. I steam both while the coffee brews and we're out the door. No board, no waiting for an iron to heat up.

Hotel irons are the worst — not anymore

Packs flat in my bag and actually presses. I've stopped gambling on whatever scorched iron is bolted to the hotel closet. Clean shirt every trip.

Great on curtains and linens too

Bought it for clothes but it flew through my hanging curtains and the guest-bed linens. Only note — I wish the cord were a little longer for tall drapes.

The suction actually presses

Had a cheap steamer before that just breathed on the wrinkles. This one grips the fabric and leaves it genuinely crisp. Total difference on thicker shirts.

No more scorch marks

I've ruined shirts with a hot iron more than once. This is so much more forgiving — I run it over everything now, even the stuff I used to be scared to press.

The big tank is underrated

I sell vintage clothes and steam a whole rack at a time. The 270ml tank means I'm not refilling every three shirts like my old one. Wish it came with a travel pouch.

Packs smaller than my hair dryer

I do a lot of weekend trips and this fits in my tote with room to spare. Steamed my dress and my husband's shirt in the hotel bathroom in five minutes flat. No more borrowing the sketchy front-desk iron.

Sold my iron on Marketplace

Haven't touched an ironing board since this showed up. The suction is the part that surprised me — it actually presses a real crease into my guayaberas instead of just relaxing them like my old steamer did.

Wish I'd bought it sooner

Cuts my morning routine way down — I steam my top while the coffee brews. Only reason for four stars is I'd love a slightly longer cord, but honestly a tiny gripe for how much I use it.

Crisp scrubs every shift

I'm on my feet 12 hours and showing up in wrinkled scrubs looks sloppy. Thirty seconds with this and they look pressed. One tank gets me through the whole week's worth.

Handles my husband's dress shirts

He used to drop five shirts at the cleaners every week. Now I run this over them Sunday night and the collars come out sharp. Paid for itself in about a month of dry-cleaning saved.

Steamed a whole Poshmark rack

I resell clothes and photos are everything. I can steam an entire rack on one fill without stopping to refill. My listings look ten times more premium now — total game changer for my closet.
